德国教授DE是某杂志的编委，又是偶老板的朋友。 DE教授的论文一般短小精干，3－4页是经常的 偶老板的论文一般n长，30－40页是经常的 这次偶老板把一篇包含58个图总共大约60多页的论文投到 偶老板也知道图好像是太多了，所以特别引用的Feynman语录 大意是说，论文么，要提供尽可能多的证据 DE教授一审稿，说，太长，偶不是Feynman，图必须在10个以内！ 偶老板没办法，就狠心删掉了22个图 然后DE教授的审稿意见是这样写的： The problem is the number of figures. You reduced it from 58 to 36, while I asked for just a few figures; and you claim to have followed closely my recommendation. Obviously you believe I am too old to count numbers larger than the number of my fingers, but this is not yet correct. Thus, please reduce the number of figures to less than 10. Some are easily omitted: The plots of Dow Jones etc versus time have been often published, and then in section 2 you mention again and again that the results are similar which means that these figures can be omitted. However, more cuts are still needed. IJMPC is overrun with submissions, we have to be selective, and your 36 figures take perhaps the space of two usual articles. As I wrote, I am not Feynman. Of course, you can also sent this paper to another journal, but then the whole process starts again. Murdering me would have similar effects. Hurry up since a) this weekend I go to India for four weeks (I hope with e-mail and printer access) and b) you may be put into a camp for enemy aliens next week. 然后偶老板终于再删，留下9个图，DE教授就同意发表了，然后他到了印度 并在那里把论文发给在新加坡的杂志社的工作人员： ...
